Saturday Multi - 11th of October 2025

After a near miss last week, the team have made a change for this week's Saturday Multi.

Out - Jaike Altieri
In - Brad Bishop

After a poor run of form, the captain has taken a leave of absence and the Saturday Multi instead looks to Brad Bishop, who joins James Tzaferis & Trent Crebbin in search of a winning week. Brad is siding with a talented filly at Caulfield, JT heads to his homeland of Murray Bridge and Trent sidles over to Sydney for the Gloaming.

Caulfield R2 #5 – Point Barrow WIN at $3.20

One of the runs of the night in the G3 Champagne Stakes at The Valley on Grand Final eve. Savaged the line from an impossible position at what was her first start over 1200m. Gets back, but there looks enough early speed to ensure a solid tempo and if that's the case she should be able to get over the top of them.

Murray Bridge R2 #5 - Inhabit WIN at $2.10

Loathe to dive into early season 2YO races full of first starters but suspect this filly is very handy. She jumped fast, led and easily won a recent trial in quick time, relative to the horses she faces on Saturday. The stable have an opinion of her and my expectation is that she will be winning on debut before being aimed at nicer races in Melbourne. She has been easy since markets opened and at better than even money, she is a backable price.

Rosehill Race 6 #8 Champagne Hero WIN at $4.40

Posted a huge time figure winning at Newcaslte by four lengths last time out and looking every bit like the type of three-year-old to come through the provincials as a Spring Champion horse. Finds a very winnable Gloaming with key dangers coming out and he'll either lead or make them work to cross from barrier one.

Wrap those selections up and you'll get around $29 odds, with prices correct at 11am on Friday October 10th.
