Racing and Sports is pleased to team up with the Ipswich Turf Club and they're racing on Friday.
RACE 1
The maiden stayers kick us off. LA GRACIA (8) has been thereabouts without winning hitting the top-four in five of her past six starts and strikes a very winnable contest here. Will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and must be respected from the Archibald camp. Rates the testing material against this line-up. BRIEF SPIRIT (1) has been knocking on the door of a maiden victory of late and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Looms as the main danger. FLIRTING WITH FIRE (6) just ran into one better at Toowoomba at the latest effort and is drawn to get a gun run in transit from the inside marble. Top-three conveyance. NIENNA (9) will be rock-hard fit for this and hoop Tomizawa sticks following that last-start placing. In the mix. CONTINENT (5) next in line with Moor in the irons.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 8,1,6,9.
RACE 2
VANDEVELDE (6) just missed the placings at the Sunny Coast when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. Doesn't need to improve much to be fighting out the finish in this. The well-related POWER REECE (8) (half to 3xListed winner Snitzkraft) was well in the betting on debut but didn't measure up in town on that occasion. Has since tuned up for this with a recent trial win and is sure to be up to the mark out of the Gollan barn. Watch for sharp improvement. NOTTINGTON PRINCE (3) has placed three from four over this distance range and will strip fitter second-up from the break. Top-three aspirations. BOOMTOWN LADDIE (1) has been thereabouts in both starts to date and only needs some luck navigating from the outside draw to be featuring in the finish. SKINNY JEANS (9) best of the rest.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Vandevelde to break the maiden status.
RACE 3
EMPIRE OF ART (5) wasn't disgraced in town at the latest effort and should find this assignment much more to his liking. Thompson stays on board following that last-start outing and maps ideally from gate two. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. SOUTHOFTHEBORDER (3) shed the maiden tag in impressive fashion last time out and will have derived a bunch of confidence from that dominant victory. Can go right on with the job now. DEMARCAY (2) was too bad to be true last time but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance from the inside alley. BRAVE BOY (1) boasts a win over this staying trip and will be at peak fitness for this. In the mix. MAN TALK (7) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Empire Of Art.
RACE 4
The well-related SOME STYLE (7) (half to G1 winner Peeping) finally broke the maiden status at the latest effort and will have come on with that win now under the belt. Thompson sticks in the saddle following that last-start victory and looks ready for the step-up in trip now. Very hard to toss. MEDICAL AUTOCRAT (6) has placed one from one over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the break. Capable of sharp improvement. SIAN STAR (2) saves his best form for this circuit with two wins and five placings from just nine spins. Can win without surprising. CANADIAN EXPRESS (4) goes well for hoop Lerena who has two wins and a placing from just four steers. Include in calculations. TAVIS TOWN (1) next in line with the claim.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Some Style to win again.

RACE 5
The well-related CODE IN TIME (1) (half to G3 winner Eight Till Late) has been plying his trade in harder metropolitan contests and is sure to find this assignment much more to his liking. Will be rock-hard fit for this and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. KING KRYPTOS (6) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the two wins prior were good enough for a race of this nature. Can bounce right back without surprising. THE GAMBLING GREEK (5) strips fitter second-up from the break and is more than capable enough on his day. Top-three commodity on best form. RICH MINX (2) goes well for hoop Sandkuhl who has two wins and two placings from just four rides. Again gets the benefit of her 3kg claim and looks a must for the multiples. OBEROI PRINCESS (7) best of the rest while fresh.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 1,6,5,2.
RACE 6
Former Victorian SHE'S BRUTAL (12) was well in the betting when having her first run for the new stable and didn't let supporters down with a solid Toowoomba victory. Thompson stays on board following that last-start win and can make it back-to-back victories to start the campaign. SO BE INSPIRED (9) will be cherry-ripe now third-up from the spell and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Looks very hard to toss. MISS ZERMATT (3) returned in fine fashion with a strong Kilcoy win and has placed three from three when second-up. Makes some appeal. ZIMBARA (10) saves her best form for this six-furlong journey and must be included in calcaultions. ALFA LILY (6) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be underestimated.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with She's Brutal.
RACE 7
INNERVISIONS (8) returned in fine fashion with a dominant Beaudesert victory and winning rider Moor sticks in the stirrups. Drawn to get across easily from gate four and should give backers a bold sight. MOTORBIKE (13) is one from one around this circuit and and will be ready to peak now fourth run back from a break. Shapes as a leading contender. BOOMROUX (4) resumes here but has placed two from three when fresh and is a winner over this course and distance. Top-three contender if he brings his A-game. LIMAHULI (1) strips fitter second-up from the break and gets the services of Mallyon in the saddle. In the mix. KINGSLAND (12) has never missed the top-four in six career outings and looks one for the exotics players.
SUGGESTED PLAY: Innervisions to salute again.
