Manuel Nunes got his day to a good start when he rode Coeur De Lyon to a win in the 1200 metre opening race on Finals Day at Morphettville on Saturday.

Prepared at the Warrnambool stable of Tom Dabernig Coeur De Lyon  raced one off the pace before going on to win.

Since relocating to SA from Tasmania apprentice Taylor Johnstone Rode Karavas to success in the 1200 metre second race.

Prepared by Richard and Chantelle Jolly and coming off a last start ninth at Flemington Karavas came from the rear of the field with a strong outside run to win.

Morphettville trainer Travis Doudle was happy with the win of his charge Merchant Boss  in the 1600 metre third race.

Ridden by Ben Price Merchant Boss was well placed in bringing up his sixth win in thirty-three starts.

Murray Bridge trainer Stephen Theodore continued his good strike rate when his charge Divine Fire took out the 1800 metre fourth race.

Having the services of jockey Jacob Opperman Divine Fire raced in a forward position before going on to win comfortably.

The promising four-year-old Sir Sway made it two wins in a row when he took out the 1200 metre fifth race.

Jointly prepared by Sue and Jason Jaensch at Naracoorte the Lachlan Neindorf guided Sir Sway led all the way.

The Shayne and Chelsea Cahill prepared Tippa won his third race in a row when he took out the 2500 metre sixth race.

Having the ser vices of apprentice Rachelle Milnes Tippa held down a forward position to bring up his seventh win from seventeen starts.

A last start Flemington starter Jack the Lad returned to winning form when he took out the 1600 metre seventh race.

Being under the care of Wayne Francis and Glen Ken t and having the services of Jake Toeroek Jack the Lad held down a forward position.

Putting in a dashing ride apprentice Rochelle Milnes won her second race for the day when Cararada  took out the 1200 metre eighth race.

Prepared by John Hyam Cararada came from a worse than midfield position with a strong runover the concluding stages.

Howl brought up his first win in over a year when he took out the 1200 metre final event.

Prepared at Goolwa by David Jolly the Justin Potter ridden Howl came from a worse than midfield position to record a strong win.
