Keep An Eye On: SA Blackbookers - 6th September 2025

We've found a horse to follow from Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

R4: Streetcar Fury (2nd)

He was a beaten favourite and on first glance you could say Streetcar Fury had his chance to win on Saturday but I thought there was still plenty to like about the return of the progressive David Jolly-trained galloper.

He jumped well and settled on the heels of the leaders. I thought he over-travelled for a couple of furlongs which may have dulled his finish somewhat. He also looked a little unbalanced getting around the tight Parks track and both of his appearances there have resulted in him being beaten as favourite.

With the run under his belt, I'm keen to follow the son of Exceedance at his next start, especially if he gets onto a bigger, galloping track like Murray Bridge or Morphettville.

Ultimately, I think he's got great scope to progress through the sprinting grades if he can be trained to conserve his energy a little better in the early part of his races. For the time being, this may mean that he stays at 1000m.
