Sandown Hillside Race 1 - Regal Award

Very sharp win from this three-year-old by Ole Kirk who resumed behind Space Rider at Moonee Valley, coming back to midweek grade here and given a positive ride out to 1300m which saw him far too good for his rivals. The time looks strong compared to the older horses over 1300m later on the card and he should get a mile no problem.

Canterbury Race 3 - Condone

A nice debut from this Coolmore colt by Justify out of a handy daughter of I Am Invincible. The track detereorated quickly during the day so the times need to be adjusted and treated with caution however the effort to stick on outside the lead when the one inside him dropped out in the straight was good, holding off the majority of the chasers. No doubt she'll be better for that and can get the job done next time out.
