Galway Closing Day

There's been some memorable moments and as usual some better forgotten. It looks like Gordon Eliott is the King of Galway these days and he with his number 1 jockey Jack Kennedy conquered in the Boylesports Hurdle with Winning Smut. Our other selections are still running but the placings were Fascile Mode 33/1, Chart Topper 8/1 and Teed Up 8/1.

Sunday's feature is the Ahoonora Handicap over 1400m with 15 runners and 3 reserves and there's a few who have had a race earlier in the week and come back for more. The favourite Dunum won on Tuesday for Natalia Lupini and Seamie Heffernan and is on 4/1. Princess Child was an unlucky second in a fillies Listed race and is on 6/1. Fort Vega 9/1 and Go Athletico may be of interest.
