Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 05.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Flemington, Randwick, Eagle Farm, Morphettville, Ascot and Hobart.
FLEMINGTON: RACE 9 @ 4:35 PM
AVIATRESS (5) had been threatening to win a good race for a while and looks to have put it all together, winning well in Adelaide two back before putting a hole in her rivals in the G3 Northwood Plume at Caulfield in fast time. The form out of that race is strong, she just needs to run the 1400m strongly to be going close. FANCIFY (12) was a smart winner fresh at Murray Bridge over 1200m and will be even better suited to this trip. She's got a great winning record and did win easily over this route last time in, albeit in a BM78. MISS ARIA (9) is flying, coming through all the right races. She draws ideally and will be fighting out the finish. BIZOT (16) was good behind Aviatress last time and has claims.
SELECTIONS: Aviatress & Fancify to win.

RANDWICK: RACE 8 @ 4:50 PM
MORAVIA (4) is racing in career-best form this prep and will relish the drop in grade over the 1100m. Gritty effort over the 1300m when fifth in the G3 Silver Eagle at this track on October 19. Maps to stalk the good tempo and he has a massive fitness edge over these. The one to beat. BALLROOM BELLA (11) heavily supported first up when an even sixth over 1200m in the G3 The Nivison at Rosehill on October 12. Comes back a level here and gets the blinkers on for the first time from the low draw. Each-way. CABALLUS (7) had no luck in Melbourne and then drew out when catching the eye late to finish eighth over 1200m in the G3 Sydney Stakes behind Overpass on October 19. Keep safe. JEDIBEEL (8) returns after a break of three-and-a-half months. Finished his last campaign impressively, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1100m at Rosehill. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: Moravia to win.
EAGLE FARM: RACE 6 @ 3:23 PM
INTUITU (1) returned to the winners' stall over this track and trip at the latest effort and will take a stack of confidence from that dominant victory. Gets 2kg off from the inside marble and should give this a mighty shake again. SIMPLY REFUSE (5) will be rock-hard fit for this and is usually thereabouts. Sure to be hitting the line with gusto. THE IRISH (4) has been just behind the placings in both runs this campaign and will be ready to peak third-up from the break. Top-three candidate on best form. IMPUNITY (7) has gotten better with each run this time in and looks one for the multiples. BEDFORD SQUARE (2) also gets some weight relief and may earn some minor money.
SELECTIONS: Intuitu to go back-to-back.
MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 9 @ 5:40 PM
THE JOURNO (3) only got out late but won with a fair bit up his sleeve when resuming here 17 days ago. Is 1/1 second-up and will appreciate the rise in trip. In-form hoop Opperman sticks and there's no reason he can't repeat the dose. GIVE SOME LIP (4) warmed nicely to his task late when resuming into second here. Improvement to come second-up and is another that will be doing his best work late. THE GOLDEN FIST (11) carries strong form lines this campaign and is much better than the recent effort suggests. Don't dismiss. SHOOTOOSE (1) was solid fresh without threatening. Kept fresh for his second-up assignment and will appreciate the added trip. Inside draw is another bonus.
SELECTIONS: Backing The Journo to win.
ASCOT: RACE 7 @ 3:50 PM
MADAME MAGIC (4) ended last campaign with a Listed placing over 1400m which rounded out a relatively successful campaign in much tougher company. She lobs here first-up on the back of a handy trial with Chris Parnham in the saddle. She's won 2/4 fresh and can resume on a winning note again today. DEAMBER (2) got a long way back last start and was only 1.6L off the winner at the finish in a bunched finish. She is likely to get back again, though she comes through some very strong Saturday grade races. Will find this much easier and can land the knockout blow. ON PATROL (8) found one better 10 days ago, though he was sound first-up from the back. He now gets Pike in the saddle with a handy second-up record. Back to midweek company now and can go one better. NORICH (7) should be in the finish if he can hold his form out to 1200m. DEEP SPEED (3) needs some luck from out wide but can be in the finish if the breaks come.
SELECTIONS: Madame Magic can return on a winning note.
HOBART: RACE 5 @ 1:34 PM
CORNELIAN BAY (1) peaks and has been threatening a win in stronger grade. Has a handy 2kg claim and this is a winnable assignment. GEE GEES ME BOY (4) resumes and is proven fresh. Brings a strong win from Launceston and has readied for this with a trial win. He's good enough. CREATIVE LICENCE (3) will race forward from the inside barrier and is proven second-up. He has claims, as does RUBBLEONTHEDOUBLE (2) who draws low with Pires aboard and he's proven second-up.
SELECTIONS: Backing Cornelian Bay.
