Trainer : Ciaron Maher

Hailing from Winslow, just outside Warrnambool, Ciaron Maher started out as a jumps jockey before turning his attention to training.
Less than three years after taking out his license, Ciaron Maher tasted Group 1 success when Tears I Cry took out the Group 1 Emirates Stakes at Flemington at odds of 100-1.
Despite having to wait seven years for his next Group 1 win with Set Square in the 2014 Crown Oaks, Maher continued his rise in the Victorian training ranks with stables at both Warrnambool and Caulfield.
A prolific winner of feature jumps racing in Victoria, Maher has won the Grand Annual, National Steeplechase and Brierley on multiple occasions and is regarded as one of the leading trainers in Melbourne.
