Sale Race 4 - Matsuda

Dominant win by this three-year-old who beat a fairly handy one in the process, bolting in by five lengths in good time, the time figure strong compared to the card and faster overall than the progressive A Diva who won impressively herself one race later over the same trip. Matsuda was tried in the Derby Preview prior and didn't have much luck, but whether he's up to that level regardless is questionable. If they place him conservatively he can certainly win more races over a trip.

Randwick Kensington Race 3 - Luskaire 

Another strong win from this in form gelding who has now won his past three, improving his rating considerably each time out. The son of American Pharoah puts himself on speed and ran a strong time here, just a length outside standard time whereas the rest of the card were well outside standard. He can probably go up to a benchmark 78 next time and down in weight will be very hard to catch again.
