Moruya racecourse is an excellent all-weather track built on a sand base and is overlooked by excellent facilities and viewing areas. Moruya racecourse has a symmetrical circumference of 1760 metres with two long front and back straights with horseshoe turns. A long turn starting at the 900m leads into a 400m long home straight. There are chute starts for races over 1000m, 1400m and 1620m.
