The Australian Turf Club’s Warwick Farm racecourse is located in south-west Sydney around the Chipping Norton area near Liverpool.
Warwick Farm racecourse is adjacent to the George’s River and is renowned for its spacious grounds and rural atmosphere.
Warwick Farm is a major racing and training centre and now includes the Sales complex near the home turn which replaced the old Sales at Newmarket.
It is a triangular course proper with a circumference of 1937m and a home straight measuring 326m.
The Warwick Farm course underwent major design changes in the 1980s when a chute was extended along the river side of the course to allow for straight runs from 1000m to 1400m starting points to the home turn....
