Jockey - DOM TOURNEUR

Dom Tourneur began his career in Perth in 1991 riding in the bush before moving to Adelaide in 2005.
It was in 2009 that Dom Tourneur rose to prominence with a horse called Alcopop, combining to win the JRA Cup at Moonee Valley and Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes at Caulfield before starting favourite and running sixth in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup.
Three years later the pair finished runner up to Dunaden in the Group 1 Caulfield Cup with Tourneur missing the ride the next start when Alcopop won the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes replaced by Craig Williams.
In 2013 Tourneur got a much deserved Group 1 win on Maybe Discreet in the Schweppes Oaks at Morphettville, his first big win coming on Hucklebuck in the 2014 Group 1 Emirates Stakes.
Tourneur is firmly established among the leading riders in Adelaide and has struck up a successful relationship with trainer Philip Stokes.
