The McEvoy yard had its best year in racing since Tony went out by himself rather than involved at Lindsay Park.
Those formative years held him in good stead for that eventual move.
His best horse so far was the top filly Sunlight who won Coolmore Stud Stakes against her own age bracket and then stepped up in the Autumn to beat older horses in the Newmarket Handicap and the William Reid at WFA.
As well as her, McEvoy trained Oohood, Manuel and Despatch to win at the top level in 2018/19.
