New Zealander Trent Busuttin started his partnership with Natalie Young in 2011 after a successful stint in Singapore with his father Paddy. The pair had immediate success by winning the VRC Derby with Sangster, other early stakes winners including Barside, Six O'Clock News, Caorunn and Mabeel. Natalie Young became the first woman to train an Australian Derby winner with Tavago in 2016. That same year the pair made the move across to ditch, relocating their business from Cambridge to Cranbourne.
